I am a computational scientist in the Windreich Department of AI and Human Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I am passionate about developing machine learning algorithms to solve real world problems at the intersection of precision oncology, digital health and medical big-data. I completed my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA. Previously, I completed my Masters in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, specializing in statistical signal processing and machine learning, from IIT Guwahati, India. I did my undergrad (B. Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab. I developed strong analytical, programming and technical communication skills through my work at the crossroads of machine learning, signal and image processing, and computational cancer research.
