Picture
I am a graduate student at Case Western Reserve University. Through masters in Electrical Engineering and pursuing PhD in Biomedical Engineering, I hope to gain complementary skills for working with multi-disciplinary teams. My research is focused on developing computer algorithms for precision oncology. I am currently investigating radiomic features from specific brain tumor regions and finding their associations with histopathological attributes and molecular markers to understand the tumor phenotypic characteristics. ​During my masters, I developed a machine learning algorithm to predict multiple sub-types of breast cancer in a single patient. I also developed deep learning solutions for automated medical image analysis to predict prostate biochemical recurrence.

  • I recently co-organized an international competition on multi-organ nuclei segmentation and classification (MoNuSAC) at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging 2020. This competition will push state-of-the-art in generalized segmentation of tumor nuclei and tumor associated immune cells. Click here for challenge details. 
  • I previously co-organized an international competition on multi-organ nuclei segmentation (MoNuSeg) from H&E stained tissue images at MICCAI 2018 where 32 teams from 11 countries made to the final rankings.​​
